In 1965 we wrote our first group insurance plan for the employees of the University of Connecticut and we remain the management group, over four decades later. Our group insurance plan was one of the first of its type in higher education.

In 1975 we began writing group insurance plans for the employees at member colleges of higher education consortia. Our plan was the first group program for higher education consortia. The following are only some of the higher education consortia we wrote:

     • Associated Colleges of the Mid-Hudson Area
     • Hartford Consortium for Higher Education
     • Higher Education Center for Urban Studies
     • Kansas City Regional Council for Higher Education
     • New Hampshire College and University Council
     • Northeast Ohio University College for Medicine
     • Rochester Area Colleges
     • Worcester Consortium for Higher Education

In 2004 we expanded our business model to become an association and consortia management group going beyond just offering group insurance to now offering collaborative member benefits and member benefits administrative services to our clients.

Our consortial member benefits model is built to manage group purchasing of products and services, software development and administration, and expanded group insurance products and services.
