The Association of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Providers of New York (ASAP) has gone through an exciting transformation with a new member benefits administrative and communications platform. Our new member benefits platform will facilitate our ability to:

  1. Communicate More Effectively with Our Membership.
  2. Deliver More and Better Benefits for Our Members.
  3. Offer Highly Managed Benefits for Our Members.
  4. Expand ASAP’s Presence in the Northeast.
  5. Promote Our Treatment Community to a Larger Northeast Audience.

Delivering Results:
This means greater exposure in the addiction and behavioral health business community, a captured industry position, and greater results for any vendor participating as an official member benefit of the Association for Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Providers New York State. Our new member benefits platform is a giant leap forward not just for ASAP but for any association that sees the need to offer solutions to the challenges its members face each day. The member benefits platform is based on a collaborative model that creates larger group opportunities for purchasing products and services that would not be available to an organization acting alone.

ASAP Member Benefits Opportunity:

Step One: Obtain an ASAP member benefit vendor participant application/media kit by contacting the ASAP member benefits director.

Step Two: Evaluate the demographic and marketing information in the ABH Career publishing group media kit to establish whether our communications and marketing platform is a good fit for your organization.

Step Three: Determine what member benefit segment(s) you are applying for. All segments can be viewed below on this webpage.

Step Four: All vendors participating as an official ASAP member benefit must offer a special pricing and/or service option for ASAP membership to increase participation in the member benefit your organization is offering.

Step Five: All participating ASAP member benefit vendors are required to participate in a marketing package in order to increase participation of their member benefit(s) offered. Determine whether Marketing Level One, Two, or Three would be most appropriate for your budget and strategic marketing needs. Cost of program is detailed in the ABH Career Publishing Group media kit developed specifically for vendors interested in participating as an ASAP member benefit. You may request a media kit from ASAP’s Member Benefits Director.

Step Six: Submit the signed application to the ASAP member benefits director.

The application will be reviewed within four weeks for acceptance or denial; you will then be contacted by our member benefits director. All applications for member benefits participation are reviewed by the ASAP executive director.

Each segment is limited to no more than five vendors to facilitate a higher percentage of participation from our membership, and to facilitate better results for the vendor offering the member benefit. First come first to be considered for a member benefit segment. Each vendor can participate in up to three segments. Any vendor participating in multiple segments will receive a 20% discount on the multi-marketing levels that will need to be purchased for each segment the vendor participates in.

All vendors that participate as an ASAP member benefit(s) must be registered as an ASAP affiliate member. All marketing programs are in effect for twelve months starting from the date of acceptance of application, and will be reviewed for effectiveness at the end of each contract year. Insurance and employee benefits for our ASAP Membership is a closed segment. If your organization represents insurance or employee benefits, contact the member benefits director for information about our benefits network serving the ASAP membership.
